This meeting was held in the Pine Castle Auditorium in conjuction with the School Annual Open House. Attendance was very good with a main majority of PTA membership in attendance.
The meeting was called to order at 6:35 p.m. by President Mary Lee Walker.
The PCE PTA Board was introduced.
There was a presentation of the 2006 - 2007 Budget. A motion was made from the floor to accept the budget, there was a second. The motion passed without further discussion.
5th grade parents offered pizza dinner in the cafeteria.

There was membership table set up out front of the building by Francis Saunders, Membership Chair.

An appeal was made to participate in the Fall Fundraiser.

T-shirts were offered for sale by Chrissy Mentzer, T-shirt Chair.

Anne Spivey discussed the Box Tops collections.
An appeal was made for Addions Volunteers. Volunteer needs specifically addred were:
- Holiday Gift Ship - Elves / workers needed.
- Reading Pals - Chair needed and helpers in the classroom.
- Popcorn Day Helpers - First Fridays of the month during school hours.
Up coming dates reminder:
- Math & Science Night - September 28, 6:30 - 8:00
- Denny's Night Starting on September 6 - 1st Wednesdays of the month
- September 20th - Picture Day
- October 14 & 15 - Pioneer Day's with the parade on Saturday the 14th
- Next PTA board meeting is to be held October 3 in the Media Center - child care will be provided.
